A touch of Colonial grandeur
An Oxfordshire garden reflecting the Colonial styled architectural detailing.
For a major architectural refurbishment, we have been commissioned to create a strong, geometrical family garden. Privacy, screening and the mitigation of traffic noise along were the key drivers, along with the rethinking access points to the house.
Once again, encouraged by the clients to embrace a bold aesthetic, we have developed a scheme that creates zonal separation of spaces, with partial enclosure allowing free flow between elements such as a basket ball pitch, a home office and gym, a veg garden etc and ensured full access to the sunlight via an additional side terrace and second lawn.
