Victorian Villa

Instructed to bring the countryside into the town, this walled garden explores a softer, wilder aesthetic.

Acer campestre, the humble field maple, formed a woodland grove beneath which wildflowers flourished. These multi stem varieties are regularly pollarded to maintain their height and sculptural quality.

Nearer the house, a formal lawn and lime tree avenue complete the this calm textural garden.
